As you take on HighLevel, GoHighLevel, GHL or whatever you call it, here is an overview of a simple use case you’re going to be needing.
In order to build your email list, you want to offer your audience something valuable. It can be a guide, a set of tips, a video, etc. It gets them something they want and it builds you up as the expert in your field. It’s likely their first transaction with you where the currency they use is their first name and email address.
You have to experiment to see exactly what your potential customers want and will register to get, but the mechanics of getting it to them is the same.
This video tutorial gives a step-by-step showing you the pieces and parts needed to get this sequence working, do its job and deliver an elegant and professional experience to your site visitors.
The steps go over your explaining what it is you have to offer. You provide them with a form they use to enter their information. They submit the form getting them to a thank you page where you deliver the lead magnet. As an alternative, you can give them instruction on how to access it. You definitely need to send them an email message with instructions for getting the lead magnet.
The thank you page and email message can simply give them a link to access the lead magnet. It can be an link to a membership with an autologin link that gets them what they want. (In future, articles I’ll show you how to deliver this via a membership site and why that’s good way to do so.)
The point it to make it very easy to use and get your audience what they requested. You also want to follow that up with a series of email messages, and a set of text messages if possible, elaborating on what the lead magnet gets them and sharing additional information from your area of expertise. Based on how you contact responds or doesn’t, you can transition them to a nurture sequence that keeps them connected with you, provides them with ongoing value and keep you top of mind.
