Need some help finding resource you’ll need when building your membership site?   Here’s a handy list of resources we’ve put together that we use ourselves and recommend to our clients.

Use the Right Tools for Your Membership Site (Links provided are affiliate links.)

  • WPEngine –  This is the hosting we use for our sites and it’s what we recommend to our clients. It’s well priced and provide high performance.  They feel so strongly about their platform’s security that they’ll unhack any site on it that gets hacked.  You cannot beat that.
  • GoDaddy – You have to purchase your domain somewhere.  GoDaddy is the place we recommend you go to purchase your domain.  We also recommend you use them as your domain name server (DNS).  This is NOT your website hosting provider.  See WPEngine for that.
  • WordPress – This is an open source (meaning it’s free) website building platform that’s the standard.  There are other platforms that may be easier to use for novice users.  This, however, is the platform that will give you the most options for supporting your business and it’s needs long term.
  • Memberium – If you are using Infusionsoft or ActiveCampaign, this is the tool to use to add membership site features to your WordPress site.  We are Memberium Certified Implementation Partners.  It’s definitely a solution to use once you reach the right level in your business.
  • LearnDash – This is the Learning Management System (LMS) we recommend for membership sites focused on learning.  It provides many features that make course building more highly functioning.  More importantly, it makes building your course and managing your content much easier than it would be were you using WordPress alone.

  • Infusionsoft by Keap – We are a Keap Certified Consultant team and can sell this to you.  Feel free to contact us about this.
  • Keap – Keap is a junior version of Infusionsoft by Keap.  We’re happy to get with you to discuss which platform is best for you.
